Many of my clients asked me if they can get Spray Tans while pregnant? This is a very important question to have a complete understanding of possible contraindications and precaution measures for the well-being of the expecting mother. With a correct approval, expecting mothers shouldn't have any problem spray tanning.
Prepare For It
Pregnancy causes many hormonal imbalances which can affect the spray tan. Clients should know, this may cause light development, or no development at all and unevenness. To avoid unpleasant result, a trial spray may be ideal especially for events. It is best to stay away from rapid solutions, since he client may not see optimal results.
Ask your doctor first
Pregnant clients should ALWAYS ask their doctor before they're making their spray tan appointment. Tanning professionals can provide their clients a full ingredient list of their solutions, so their doctor can make a realistic decision. Expecting clients should provide tanning professionals with doctor's approval note!!!
Follow safety regulations
FDA currently only approves and regulates DHA for external use and does not approve for internal consumption. Therefore, all pregnant clients MUST be cleared to receive sunless tanning services. To comply with FDA regulations, The Organic Glow offers nose filters, eye wears, disposable panties and extraction system.
